Taking a third clip off the head really freed the draw to a normal level and increased smoke and body to a much better medium. From the 1/2 way point at 45 min in through to the end at 1:15 flavord took on a creamy slightly sweet light coffee flavor, still with a rich thick smoke. I have been smoking cigars for about 25 years. Being a fisherman and boater, one of the most important cigar accessories that I own is a quality travel humidor. I chose Cigar Caddy as my travel humidor for several reasons that I will detail below.

It gave some interesting flavors directly after the light, with a very loose draw that came up to a normal resistance once the burn point hit the full wrapper section. Flavor was medium bodied offering a mild complexity of smooth and rich wood, hints of sweetness and pepper at points. Burn was good, needing a couple minor touch-ups and the draw was on the loose side overall. The finish changed from the first half to the last, getting shorter and cleaner as it went. The first 3rd of this cigar was the most mild experience I have had of any cigar, hands down. Barely any smoke or body, and the flavors were just a touch of sweet wood and a short clean finish. Pretty much like sucking warm air. The half way point finally woke it up, producing a normal amount of smoke, bringing the body and strength up to a medium point, adding flavors of caramel, nuts, creamy wood and leather at points, with a small spice kick on the finish. The last third brought a longer finish and higher strength, actually giving me a little buzz, although the body did not follow. The flavor combination was very unique, offering a VERY rich chewy smoke with notes of leather, oak, spice, caramel, coffee all quickly transitioning from one to the next on every draw. The finish was surpisingly short and clean, with a pepper kick that went from big to average as the stick went down. Most notible was the difference between this size as the one I recently did, the Super Belicoso. This size offered a truely unique blend to me, at least so far.
