I recently was asked about my nifty little divot tool by a buddy of mine floating the boat down in the keys. It wasnt the fact that it fixed the divots with a stylish ease , but the way it could hold my favorite Cuban up off the freshly cut fairways and greens.
Apparently not everyone knows about these little combo tools. Not only do they work like a charm, but you cant ask for a better looking accessorie for impressing the boss or whoever else you spend time on the links with.
So I decided to throw together a quick little article to let anyone thats interested , know where I got mine from.
I actually purchased mine from amazon, believe it or not. I cam across the tool while browsing through the golf books and travel guides. Im not quite sure of the exact route I took to get there, but I did a quick look and decided to copy down the page address for anyone that would like to check it out themselves.

I just wanted to share this great little tool. I placed another link at the bottom of this article in the ‘about author’ resource box.
Happ Golfing!
Oh yeah , I came across a 3 in 1 tool, as well. I cannot say I know much about it,I do not own 1 – yet. But its actually a divot tool, cigar holder, AND a shoe horn. You can check it out when you folow the link.
Golfing is definitely MY TIME. When Sunday rolls around and my wonderful wife is shopping at the Market- Im out hitting 18 with the boys and the Cigars are MANDATORY.
- Here Are Some Great Cigar Holders
And a good Golf Cigar Holder goesalong wayin making sure that Im not constantly worrying about whether or not my Stogie is burning in the grass somewhere.
Maybe atthe house I wouldnt worry quite as much about my cigar burning in the grass – but on the golf Course we should definitely worry about all the chemicals and even the fertilizer can be a bit dangerous if we were to smoke a cigar that has been lying there absorbing it.
Some of us just want a cigar holder for golfing that does the job – nothing fancy, just something that will hold the cigar up and off the ground while we hit or putt.
But some of us, like me, like the Stainless Steel job that can clip on to the golf Cart AND stick in the grass as well.
There are even some Golfer Cigar Holders that come with a cigar cutter and a cigar punch as well. But my favorite and the one that I have been using for the last year -(thanks to my wife and kids for Christmas) – is the “HeaterHolder” Stainless Steel Golf Cart Cigar Holder.
Its not only gtreat looking -but itis also self leveling!
Its great and I dont have to worry about it rusting or anything like that. And its not expensive either – which never hurts.
Here are some details.
The HeaterHolder Golf Cigar Holder Product Description HeaterHolder Stainless Steel Cigar Holders feature: Keeps cigars off the ground, away from harmful fertilizers or pesticides Attaches near the top of the golf bag, close to clubs, where it won’t be forgotten Attaches to a rain hood snap, already found on most golf bags 3″ long with a 4″ safety chain, easily supports a 52 ring cigar Safety chain clips onto your towel-holder loop or any other hanging loop on your bag All metal (rustproof) construction in polished stainless steel Self-leveling for those golfers that use a stand-bag or pull cart Can be left attached to the bag so it’s always ready for use
Its really one of the best Golfer Cigar Holders – I have yet to see one that is THAT much better. I mean, there are some that could cost you a pretty penny – but as far as getting the job done and looking good doing it, my moneys on the HeaterHolder.
There area few other styles that youy may want to look at before you decide -so here is a link to a great little review page for the Golfers Cigar Holder:
– Here are some descriptions and pricing for some great new Cigar Holders.
Rated 88. A dark, smooth wrapper covers this cigar. It burns well, giving off rich smoke and a toasty aroma. Chewy flavors and chocolate and coffee notes lead to an earthy finish. – Cigar Insider, July 2006
I tried this cigar as a smoke while playing golf and as an after dinner smoke. Was very surpised at the quality, taste and construction of this cigar. Very good full bodied smooth smoke that burns evenly thoughout the smoke. I have now ordered a box. This cigar can compete with several of my more expensive cigars! – Rob C.
What a great cigar. The construction is great. It is very consistant.Good even burn and a great draw. Starts off with a creay tobacco flovors, and ends witha strong leather flavor. Bought a box. One of the best boxes I ever bought. I give this cigar a 90. – Mike
I have a new favorite. I absolutely love this cigar. Better all around than some of the more expensive cigars I’ve smoked. Even burn throughout, deep chocolate flavor, I can’t wait for my next box. – Gregg B.

Rated 87. Attractive, oily and pressed, this dark corona is full of coffee, cocoa and wood flavors that build to a woody, licorice finish. Some dry flavors were also noted. – Cigar Insider, July 2007
Robusto add your review
THIS SMOOTH, CLEAN WELL BALANCED AND COMPLEX CIGAR DELIVERS A MEDIUM BODIED SMOKE WITH HINTS OF COFFEE AND SPICE. AS IT BURNS EVENLY WITH A WHITISH ASH, YOU REALIZE A VERY CREAMY FINISH. I COMPARE IT TO A ANNIVERSARY PADRON. IN A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10, I RATE IT AN 8. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. – RON
Rated 87. A dark and oily robusto with a firm draw. Cedary flavors are slightly bitter and charry. Scattered notes of black cherry and sweet spice precede the oily finish. – Cigar Insider, July 2006
Torpedo add your review
TOP NOTCH CIGAR. SMOKED ONE WHILE UP THE MOUNTAINS, SITTING IN MY RECLINER LOOKING OUT AT THE RAIN. THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. SMOOTH AND LOADED WITH FLAVOR. DEFINATELY A FINGER BURNER. EVEN BURN AND LONG GRAY ASH. – MIKE
Rated 87. This box-pressed mini torpedo is predominantly chocolaty in character, with some coffee and woody notes as well. Performance inconsistency was noted. – Cigar Insider, July 2006
The REO was one of the most exciting releases in 2005 and today continues to be a top seller nationwide. Blended by EO brands and made by Rocky Patel, the REO is medium to full-bodied with a dry and spicy aroma and hints of toast with a moderate finish. Each cigar is box-pressed and comes packed in boxes of 20.
What makes this cigar so unique is the five-year-old, Sumatra seed wrapper grown in Costa Rica. This wrapper completes a blend this is composed of hand selected Nicaraguan and Honduran long fillers. There is nothing ordinary or one dimensional about this cigar. Its complex mix of competing flavors makes it virtually unmatched by cigars from this region.
